Nal Sarovar is a

seen here. Apart from Siberian in winter, there are birds such as rosary
pelicans, Brahmin ducks, white storks, bitters, grips, flamingos, cocks.

Champaner suggests that Raja Vanraj Chavda, a prominent ruler of the Chavada
dynasty, founded it in the 8th century and named the place after his friend
General Champa. The Pavagadh fort was built by the Khichi Chauhan Rajputs in
Champaner during the 15th century.
If you are going
to Champaner, then definitely visit the Jambughoda Wildlife Sanctuary. It is
just 20 km from Champaner and is filled with various types of wildlife and
greenery. There are many trees here including saugan, mahuda and bamboo. Also,
much rare wildlife including barking deer, nilgai, chausingha and bear can be
seen. At one time this beautiful valley used to be the abode of many tribes.
