Haridwar
Haridwar is located in the state of Uttarakhand. The
main pilgrimage of Hindus. Haridwar is also known as the Gate of the Hari.
Haridwar is considered one of the seven sacred places of Hindus. The Ganges
river flows into the plains of Haridwar by traveling 253 km from its source
Gaumukh (Gangotri) situated at an altitude of 3139 meters above sea level,
hence Haridwar is also known as Gangadwar. Haridwar is the place where Amrit A
few drops accidentally fell from the pitcher while Garuda was taking the
pitcher after churning the sea.

Har Ki Pauri
There is a big ghat of Gangaji here. This is the main
attraction of Haridwar. 'Har Ki Pauri' is considered as the most sacred valley
of Haridwar. Every pony is also called Brahmakund. On this, Kumbh Mela seems to
be fair. Before this ghat, the Ganga appears coming down from the hillside.
This is a huge trunk, which always keeps water till the waist. In this valley,
bone immersion and Mundan work are done.A brother of Raja Vikramaditya had come
to Haridwar to perform penance. He was very dear to them. After his death, King
Vikramaditya built this Ghat in memory of Bhai Bhaitari. Bathing here achieves
salvation. The pilgrims who come here do not forget to take Ganga water from here,
people believe that this Ganges water is always pure. Mela seems to be fair in
Chaitra, every year. Every twelve years, when the Sun and Moon are located in
Aries and Jupiter in Aquarius, then a Kumbh Mela is held here. It is also the
sixth year of the Ardhakumbh Mela. Many lakhs of foreigners come from foreign
countries and take a bath in the Ganges.

Chandi
Devi Temple
This temple is located on the peak of Nil
Mountain on the eastern bank of river Ganges, 6 km from Haridwar. The temple is
located at a distance of 3 km from Chandighat. There is a climb uphill. There can also be reached by the ropeway. There is a lot of crowds to know from the
city. This temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peetho. According to legend, the
Chand-Munda monster was struck by Goddess Chandi here, after which the name of
this place became Chandi Devi. The main idol of the goddess was founded by Adi
Shankaracharya in the eighth century. In addition to the temple of Mata Chandi
Devi, there is also a temple of Santoshi Mata. There is also a temple of
Hanumanji and Mata Anjana Devi.
Mansa
Devi Temple
The temple of Mansa Devi is located on the hill
ranges of the Shivlik ranges in Haridwar. It is 3 km away from Haridwar. Mansa

Mansa Devi. There are two idols of the Goddess in the temple, the first statue

From the 'Bharat Mata Mandir' it can easily be
reached to the Saptarshi Ashram. Here the seven sages used to perform
austerity. Here the main temple is of Shiva and small shrines of Satya Sages
are visible. Unbroken fire is ignited.

Gayatri Shaktipeeth was built in 1971. The Gayatri
Parivar is the main center of the Gayatri Parivar, founded by the well-known
Manishi Shri Ram Sharma Acharya. This Gayatri Peeth also mainly serves the
publication of books written by Shriram Sharma Acharya and his journals.
Parad

The temple of Parad Shivaling is situated near the
ShriHarihar Temple in Kankhal. It is built from Shivling Parad. The Shiva Linga
made of this mercury weighs 151 kg. There is a huge tree of Rudraksha in the
courtyard of the temple, on which many fruits of Rudraksha are kept.
