Brief History :
May 1, 1960, that the Bombay presidency was divided into Maharashtra and Gujarat. Gujrat name came from "Gujjar" who Ruled here during 800 BC.it is really one of the very great state of India. it contains 1600km long coastline. it is 6th largest Indian state by area. Capital of Gujarat is "Gandhinagar" .when you are in Gandhinagar you will see the systematic sector wise construction or design of the city. Ahmadabad largest city of Gujarat and one of the metro city of India. Neighboring states of Gujarat are Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and with some union territories like Diu-daman & DadraNagar Haveli. Most spoken languages in Gujarat is "Gujrati".
Gujarat ranks 5th in terms of economy in India about US$220 billion and GDP of Gujarat is US$2300. human development index of Gujarat is 15 all over India and along with Bihar and Nagaland alcohol is prohibited in Gujarat also

Laxmi Vilas Palace, Vadodara: Back when Laxmi
Vilas Palace was built by Maharaja
Sayajirao Gaekwad 3rd, it was the major private dwelling unit
in the world. Does that give an idea of its size? The palace compound covers an

Rani ki Vav, Patan: It is my native place, it
is one of those atypical World
Heritage Site that was built by a queen in memory of her king! Sort
of like Taj Mahal, in reverse and one of the best places to visit in Gujarat.
It is an ancient step-well, from the early 11th century, which was constructed
by Udayamati in memory
of Bhimdev. With stairs that can take you down seven levels, it is home to more
than 1,500 sculptures.
